The energy of Tarifa is incredible. Miles long white sandy beaches and a unique view over the strait of Gibraltar. Where the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet and separates Europe from Africa, you will feel the charm from the little fishing village.

You will find narrow alleys, small bars, good food and a lot of joy of life. As long as the sun is shining, there will be action. For all people who enjoy sports and an active life, no matter if kiting, horse riding or biking. And if a trip is on the agenda, then Tarifa is a good starting point, which offers a variety of possibilities. Whether by ferry to Tanger (Marocco), driving to Marbella to go shopping, going to Malaga, Cadiz or Sevilla to get to know the different spirit of the time and much more can be undertaken.

Of course Tarifa stands for water sport, you can tell by the countless shops in front of the historic city and the lifestyle that has established.

SOUTHCORE CENTER

Our center is the sporty part of Los Vientos and we will offer you everything all around kiting and much more. Los Vientos is probably one of the most beautiful spot here in Tarifa and is located to the wonderful white sand beach of Los Lances. Slightly increased on a hill, we have the pine forest in the back, the sea on the doorstep and an impressive view of Morocco (Africa). Our guests can be pampered with culinary delights and cocktails, all this in a positive and relaxed atmosphere where you can come down or celebrate.

On a beautiful Poniente-day you can only see kite surfers on the water, beach and in the sky, who really live their passion for kitesurfing and become one with the wind, water and themselves. If you want to learn kiting, bring your kiting-skills to a new level or even wakeboarding is your thing, don’t be shy to contact us, with our setup we are able to realize your wishes.

WIND INFORMATION

All year round we are blessed with very good wind conditions. We have on the one hand the poniente (wind from the west), that comes relatively consistently side-onshore from the right side with a wind speed of about 18-23 miles/h. You will have a lot of fun with the “Poniente-wind” in front of our kitesurf school. Then there’s the Levante (wind from the east), that comes side-offshore from the left and is the absolute opposite. Bumpy, wild and with a wind speed up to 46 miles/h and more he will show you who the boss is on the water. If you go out you are either a good rider with a safety ticket from the Sea Angels or you are on the way with us and our boat to bring you closer to your goal “to learn kiting” or “to expand your skills”.
